What each number buys.

$1,200, the smallest order
Bouquets and personal flowers for a wedding party, or the centrepieces for a dinner at home, delivered and set. Below this the truck and the florist cost more than the flowers, so we do not take it.

$3,000, a small ceremony
An arch or an altar backdrop with fresh flowers, petals or arrangements along the aisle, a bouquet and a boutonniere, delivered, set up and taken down. [Guest count this assumes, and whether the ceremony table is in, to confirm.]

$8,000, a December wedding
The same wedding costs more in December because [roses, orchids and greenery] cost [about a third] more in the weeks before Christmas and the crews are booked. If your date is 1 to 31 December, start here.

$10,000, through a planner
When a planner or a producer books us, the room is usually the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the dinner together, drawn from their floor plan. That is what $10,000 covers as a starting point.

Each of these ends with someone unhappy: us on the day, or you at the invoice. We would rather say no in the first email.
Spend on the ceremony first.
The ceremony is in every photo; the escort card table is in none. When the number is tight we take flowers off the entrance and put them on the arch.
